Main screen showing a rundown for a 30 minute broadcast
With LineupNX you can have hundreds of items. The main screen shows key information about each item. You access the scripts, teleprompter copy and notes from this screen as well as screens to update and add information. The upper part of the display shows the overall status of the show and has a clock that counts down the time to air.
RSS and preview window
LineupNX editors and producers have the option to display an intro preview screen. Here we also show the RSS news feed feature which you can use to simulate news feeds (see sample screen from the BBC feed below).
Basic production info screen
The latest version of LineupNX lets producers include roll cues for items that must happen at a fixed time in the show. For example if you have a closing theme that you want to roll a certain number of seconds before the end of the show--and only take when ready, you can do it.
Detailed item record
In addition to the information shown on the main rundown summary screen, each item record can keep information four about events with the item and the status of five "readiness" indicators.
RSS news reader
If you are connected to the Internet, the built-in RSS news reader can connect you to hundreds of news sites including the major wire and news services. You can use this feature to simulate wire-service access. You can copy from the RSS screen and paste into scripts or teleprompter copy (remember copyright restrictions may apply).
Two-column editor for roll-ups
The built-in intro editor lets writers and editors easily create teleprompter copy. Function to estimate read-time and insert that time directly into the rundown. If you have MS Word installed on your comupter, LineupNX can even use the spell check in Word to correct the prompter copy.
Control room timing console
When the show is on the air, the production assistant or director has up-to-date timing information both for the item that is on the air and for up to four events, such as keys, within the item. If the running order of the show is changed or items are dropped or added, the timing is automatically recalculated.
Control room countdown clocks
Large, easy-to-read countdown clocks give a clear picture of the satus of a running item, including the remaining time and the time to the next event in the item
Versatile teleprompter functions
The LineupNX prompter control will work with standard tv displays. A control panel gives the operator speed control and a visual display of prompter status. If the running order of the show changes, a couple of key clicks reloads the prompter display with the new copy.
Mirror text on prompter
You can also output a mirror image of text to work with non-reversing prompter displays. You can also select from common screen resolutions and choose white text on black or black text on white.
Black or white text on prompter
The LineupNX teleprompter lets you choose between a white text on dark background or black text on a white background
Reporters can work offline
Reporters or writers do not have to be in the newsroom or be connected to the network to write material and have it included in the rundown. LineupNX lets the Desk link their material to the rundown after it has been written. The actual scripts, notes and intros can be sent by email, transferred from portable memory sticks or downloaded via FTP.
