What for?
LineupNX has a built-in web browser designed specifically to give you quick access to news feeds from sources all over the world via RSS. A drop down menu on the LineupNX main screen lets users load the latest headlines from any of the sites LineupNX has bee setup to watch. Click on a headline and the LineupNX screen loads the story. You can use this material for research and if the feeds services permits, you can use the copy as the basis of your own. You can copy and paste into a rundown item note or even directly into the intro copy.
A mouse click returns you to the main rundown screen but the news
feeds will be available whenever you want them.
LineupNX 2 lets administrators/ executive producers decide who can add,
delete, or edit the feeds you use.
We ship LineupNX with a set of starting feeds. If you have special
requests for feeds, we can customize them in advance for you.
RSS?
RSS is an abbreviation for Really Simple Syndication, a system that
can be used on the internet to keep you updated about changes in
web-pages. LineupNX loads links to the latest pages each time you click
the RSS load feed button so you are always up-to-date.
